The management team at recycle ICT ensure a strict compliance with environmental legislations, we aim to raise the awareness in responsibilities to businesses on environmental improvement. Recycle ICT ensures correct practice and adhere to environmental policies.

WEEE

The Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive aims to minimise the impact of such equipment on the environment during the products’ life span, and when it becomes waste. The WEEE Directive sets criteria for the collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

The WEEE Directive encourages businesses to do everything they can to reuse equipment. Recycle ICT provide all information and services required by the implementation of the WEEE Directive for businesses to ensure WEEE compliance at each stage of the legislation.

Landfill directtive

This directive aims to prevent or reduce as far as possible negative effects on the environment from the landfilling of waste, by introducing stringent technical requirements for waste and landfills and setting targets for the reduction of biodegradable municipal waste going to landfill.

Environmental Protection Act

An Act to make provision for the improved control of pollution arising from certain industrial and other processes; to re-enact the provisions of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 relating to waste on land with modifications as respects the functions of the regulatory and other authorities concerned in the collection and disposal of waste and to make further provision in relation to such waste.
